Berlin, Sept. 13, (BNA) US Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, and US senior officials have not informed Russia on their new plans about the use of nuclear weapons, Russian Defence Minister, Sergey Ivanov, said on Tuesday, adding that he had heard of this intention from international media.

Ivanov said in a statement in Berlin today that Russia would reconsider a large number of Military planning documents if any thing new occurred on nuclear weapons usage. Some media has pointed out to the fact that the US has been planning to conduct nuclear attacks on some bases, suspected of being used by Al Qaeda to make weapons of mass destruction. The Russian Minister described the new move as " very dangerous step that won't halt the nuclear race rather than accelerating it"
