And are only for jazzmen. People in New Orleans are NOT laid to rest with jazz funerals as a rule. They also don't, as a rule, practice voodoo (there are some practitioners, yes, but not the majority of people).

The women don't all look like the girl in Angel Heart.

The bizarre perceptions people have of New Orleans are incredible. It's like every other city in many ways - there are housing developments, schools, libraries, poor people, rich people. Most people just see a few blocks of the French Quarter with all the touristy stuff, or they watch that old James Bond flick, Live And Let Die, and they think that's New Orleans.

And for Bush to mention these things and show his ass even more because anyone from the area will know he knows NOTHING about New Orleans, is just too rich!
