Time for us to put our heads together & get to the activist forum
We saw a lot of promises made tonight. I want to ensure that above & beyond the people receiving short-term assistance to get them through the little idiot's second term, I want to know that they will all have homes rebuilt for them.

This is the time to join in the CBC's effort to make war on the policies that enable poverty, and assist the CBC in creating policies that will alleviate poverty.

This is the time, that when we contact our elected officials, we will remember that little blurb hidden in bush*s speech about the military & the Executive Office needing more domestic power. Every letter we write should include our thoughts about that statement; don't let the Congress lose focus on the whole picture.

Any addition thoughts are welcome! But let's get busy!!

2. That part about wanting more Exec. Office power
is really, really rich! I mean, he couldn't be bothered with Katrina for nearly a whole week! IF he didn't pay attention the first time, why the hell would anyone believe he would pay attention sooner if he had more power? (I know I'm not saying this very clearly--hope you all can figure out what I mean and say it better. I mean, it's like he's saying "I screwed this up so bad this time that I think I should be allowed to screw things up even more next time")
