Some major Paula Zahn snarkiness tonight...
I never watch her anymore, so it sort of caught me off guard. Her interview with Howard Dean was right near the end, so it got really painful.

Snark #1: Are you suggesting that the president doesn't like Black people?

Snark #2: So if you use your math, you're saying this president only cares about the 20% of Americans that are rich?

Snark #3:But isn't it true, Governor, that the same people you're talking about in New Orleans that are homeless today, were *poor* under Bill Clinton's leadership?

The transcript is up courtesy of Renee. I was outraged by Paula's tone, and truly concerned it is worse than when I last watched her a year or so ago.

2. I thought her real snarky (and terribly unprofessional) moment was
when after cutting away from Howard Dean she said something like, well we heard Howard Dean's predicable response.

The only thing predictable Paula is that you are a mediocore newswhore.

6. And what, paula zahn, would have
been Dean's "unpredictable response"?

"bush is a fucking fantastic leader and is always right there when you fucking need him."?

You can tell paula zahn is a fauxsux school of journalism alumni.

7. Isn't it embarassing that people like Paula Zahn are even taken seriously?

It's yet another indication of how incredibly low the quality of news coverage has become.

A person who consistently responds to those willing to confront tough issues with accusatory, defensive, snide comments must be so spiritually bankrupt as a person. She must be to have sold herself out and to be complicit in enabling those who contributed to the tragedy of Katrina.

Yes, he is predictable. Thank GOD Governor Dean is predictable.

People like Paula are transparent and so damaging when they try and distract from the truth of what occured in Louisiana and the blatant negligence by the Administration and FEMA in their responsibility of what took place in Louisiana.

For Paula to try and change the subject from the horrific abuse that took place in NO to me, reveals elements of her own issues of racism, and a disregard and indifference to those who suffered the losses incurred from Katrina.

4. Well Paula, how do you like your family's tax cut? And what do you think
as the tax burden falls more on the middle/working class? And poverty is up under Bush, which should be news but apparently isn't. What do you conclude from all that, Paula?

5. Chuckie has always had it in for Dean. Anything or anyone who is
genuine is a threat to her.

9. I don't understand what you expect
I don't understand why people even bother to complain anymore. Most of the media is bias that is no secret. She is a snarky, right-wing, bushbot which is why I don't give her the ratings.
