I halfway dozed through the speech
Edited on Thu Sep-15-05 09:12 PM by EstimatedProphet
I therefore only had a few impressions...

#1-THIS is what he's been wanting to speak about for 3 days?!?

#2-He's making a helluva lot of promises

#3-Military involvement. Joy. Clearly just what we need.

#4-That crap about funeral dirges was just stupid.

Did I sleep through anything important?

On edit: #5-A TOLL-FREE NUMBER?!? WTF!

1. It was a tedious recitation
How much they hurt, how much is being done, the good Americans, blah blah, blah. I actually lost track of the commitments.

New Orleans will rise again, but with this guy in charge, don't expect it to be soon or pretty.

2. * dozed through it, too.
He made promises to spend more money we don't have on contractors we didn't choose.
