CNN treating the "speech" as if it did not happen...ignoring it totally!

1. Well Bush might see that as positive coverage of his speech.

2. Why should they. It is propaganda. Too late. The horror continues

for many. I'm sure they'll cover it when analysis has been done. For now - the people who were in NOLA & elsewhere need to hear stories about their own plight. Not about Bush's. By ignoring the anger - the President give no mental help to the people who are searching for families or struggling to make sense of it all.

Those people, evacuees & first responders alike, need the stories to keep coming out and some of hope, some of anger, some explanation for what happened & will happen on the ground.

negative.

The polls are telling the cable news networks that bashing/ignoring shrub is good for business these days.

I think CNN was up 400% in the first week of Katrina.

Plus - it is the right thing to do for all the millions who were so gravely affected. They really need shared stories - be they evacuees, people grieving the loss of someone, first responders, etc.
