Is that a holster for a gun? For a heart monitor? A wine bladder? It doesn't match the lining of that jacket and has a shape and depth.

They don't stop the lining like it is a crop top belly shirt. That is not all the way down to the hem. Even pockets in mens jackets are lined with a similar color fabric, not something so different that it would stand out like that.

I think the top and bottom "borders" are caused because that's just what's visible. I can see his pants are puffed out blocking that pink and making the bottom "border". The top is probably just where the jacket is pressed enough against his body by his arm so we just can't see the lining anymore.

I think it's the lining and nothing more.
