The Latest On Bush's Speech

Hello Everyone, As i was reading the news i excerpted these quotes from the article. Most of them are the Democrats and Republicans backing up Bush's Plan, but if you go down to the very last quote Senator John Kerry votes against Bush's speech and makes a very good statement :) . Check out these quotes:

I couldn't agree with John Kerry more, i do doubt the competence and commitment of this administration highly and i highly doubt that they'll get the job done. I hope to hear from you soon,good luck in all you do.

3. Another point made on MSNBC was that the choice of location was

scenic, but perhaps not realistic enough...like a photo-op for the history books. I think you're right about NO not wanting him.

7. I was shocked yesterday.........

.......when he accepted responsibility for the screw ups after the hurricane. And I was shocked again tonight when I heard the speech!! I've heard many people say that this speech was more like an LBJ or FDR speech! I agree with that...........usually liberals are the ones who provide govt assistance to the common man.

that when LBJ or FDR spoke, you could be reasonably sure that they'd do what they said.
