Think carefully before you answer. :)

1. Well, the German guy is dressed better.
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 02:11 AM by Kurovski
Bush looks like he's a host at Bennigan's.

But seriously, is there some historic significance to the photo of Mr. H? Did he make a famous speech there?

2. Notice the two cathedrals in the background.
And the position of both men. Seemingly bigger than the church itself. Propaganda perfected.

3. Hitler towers over the immense cathedral.
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 02:20 AM by Kurovski
Bush is in a more cozy relation to the church in the background, more in proportion.

Still "catapulting the propaganda." Just a different message.

Good catch, geomon666.

Edit: spelling.

12. He still looks in agreement with the image of the church.
And they are both bathed in the same shade of "heavenly blue". He even looks protective of the church, along with president Jackson's statue which carries a weapon raised like St. Michael who slayed the dragon.

Bush's "humble" attire also lends an added message of "humble servant". Personally I think he looks like a slob. For a president giving a major speech, he looks like an embarrassingly careless slob. Which may be the real and contemptuous message presented to us after all is said and done. Certainly the message sent to America was one of contempt when he waited five days to step in to assist the Gulf States.

But that's just what I see presented.

13. Also, with the typical homoeroticism of the nazi era, we see
the very phallic belltower with its dome in line with Hitlers stern lips.

For some reason, it makes me think of NASCAR...

18. Oh man did you see him walking towards the podium?
I saw a video of it last night. You see an empty podium, the church in the back and all of a sudden, Bush walks out from a bush or something way back in the distance, almost as if he walked right out of the church. It was hysterical.

20. Yes, I did see that. He was having trouble walking on the
damp lumpy lawn.

He looked pretty self concious. Having to hit his marks, stay upright, and keep up that contrived butch swagger of his was probably hard work.

Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 02:28 AM by rawtribe
Today Christians ... stand at the head of ... I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity .. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit ... We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the *poison of immorality* which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of *liberal excess* during the past ... (few) years.

10. Both are wannabe dictators, both like to thrust their right arm outward...
and perpendicular to their bodies, both claim to be religious with actions that are anything but, both eventually failed miserably in their leadership positions, both were hell bent on starting wars with other nations, both eventually ran their own countries into financial ruin with their excessive military spending, both were and are hated around the world, Etc., Etc., Etc.

Pretty Scary Stuff
