Why is federal money going to New Orleans and victims of the 'cane?

I would have thought in George Bush's America that faith-based charities would handle the problems on their own.

OK, being a bit silly here, but how come so few are pointing out that only a large and strong government could handle what dubby proposes?

3. Not only that but...

... the government will probably give billions to the insurance companies like they did the airlines after 9/11. The insurance co.s will skate on a lot of policies claiming it was flood damage, not covered. They will also raise our premiums using the Katrina as a reason. Quite a scheme, eh?
