Suddenly Chimpy is throwing money like no tomorrow, giving Rove the 200 billion for New Orleans, backing down on Social Security.

Did he had Rove the rebuilding position to try to protect him from Fitz? Thinking he wouldn't DARE indict him while he's doing "Hard Work"?

Are they going to go full tilt boogie on spend, spend, spend (read as steal, steal, steal) knowing they've runined the GOP for the next 10 years...

Just so that the Democratic adminstrations/congress that follow will have SO MUCH DISASTER that whe the inevetible tax increases and all else, they they hope it will poison the Dem's for good and the next cycle they will gain the ultimate control.

What's 10-12 more years to wait if they can set it all in stone then??

Yes I agree this is the basic scenario--the floodgates are now open for white collar forms of exploitation (just a different kind of looting) before the transition to the Democratic Janitorial Crew. At least we hope the mop-up crew will be Democrats and not Repugs, though it's hard to have faith that anyone can clean up the mess in this country. It will feel as overwhelming as using a wet-vac in New Orleans these days.
