Is the U.S.A. a Corporacratic Socialism?

I heard this somewhere this week,...and it stuck.

Is a socialistic democracy worse than a corporacratic socialism? Isn't it arguable that Hitler pursued a corporacratic socialism, too (which still amounts to fascism)?

1. Not sure but the spontaneous complex cooperation that has transpired

over the past few weeks and the enthusiasm with which it has been lauded makes me giggle -- because I see the spirit of socialistic ideology at its core.

3. Corporatic socialism is an oxymoron

Socialism is a system of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.

What we have today is the corporate elite running the government for their own profit and plunder. Hardly socialism. The antitheses is socialism, actually.

,...economy." It could be argued that we have socialism for corporacrats with the American people being the "goods". I am exploring beyond the bounds of strict theory here. I realize that, strictly speaking, as a whole our country is the antitheses of socialism because it proves to be corporacratic (a form of fascism). Nevertheless, we do have a centralized government which controls our economy and serves to distribute goods/wealth among a select circle of corporacrats.

I'm not completely up on semantics, but in my opinion this is more a corporate fascist nation than a democratic republic anymore.

If I am not mistaken, Venezuela is a socialist democracy, and it seems to work for them.

5. Or do you mean those jobs programs, such as, rooting War Profiteers

in the Middle Class jobs Base, otherwise known as Bush's War on Iraq, and then there's jobs programs like Bush's Privitization of Social Security Shell Game with Wallstreet Dealers collecting their "Crumb$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$" everytime something changes hands. . . . or . . . . . .

How much money is required to even run for office? Exactly.

Make no mistake, there are many in this country that want a fascist state, and we're certainly moving toward it. The religious right elitists have been using those wishing for more open markets and smaller government to gain power, in order to take away all those freedoms they think are 'bad'.
