A question for our conservative perusers.

Mainly, conservatives from the "other" forums. I know I won't get an answer here, but hopefully you will just have something to think about.

I have read many posts from many posters in your little conservative heaven about how we on the left like to whine and complain, but offer no solutions to what we whine and complain about. Well, that's why we try to elect people who have solutions to offer. We all cannot have solutions, but some among us here on the left are pretty bright, and DO have solutions.

I have also read many posts calling us "pathetic", which leads me to my question:

What is more pathetic? We who complain about things without solutions? Or you, who set up entire forums to complain about and ridicule people who complain? Do you have solutions to this nation's problems?

Think about your behavior.

Neocon policy is "perpetual war". How exactly does that help anything but conservatives get elected?

4. People are offering solutions

I do not buy into your premise that people are being negative without offering a solution.

Cut military spending. End the Empire wars. Make the military do real accounting.
Bust up the media.
End wealthfare and corporate wealthfare.
End the war on drugs and adopt harm reduction strategies under a health care model.
Have all elections use a direct vote with a majority required for victory.
Require alcohol be added to all gasoline and get people to stop the bullshit about alcohol uses more energy than it creates.
Get real about pollution and the environment and put mercury pollution at top of priorities.
Bring on universal health care like the rest of the industrial world.
Create a tax structure that protects Americans from having an economy that can only export jobs and entertainment
Reign in federal power that no longer recognizes anything near the limits put on it by the nation states that ratified the Constitution.

People might be busy trying to halt the train that is clearly going in the wrong direction, but they also know where the proper destinations should be.

We are the problem solvers.

None of their commentary is based on facts or analysis. It's all the emotion-based defensiveness of young children now in hormone-fired bodies. They want to believe Rush and FOX's pap, so they recite it. It's empty rhetoric for them. They have no idea how to critically infer anything.
