13. There are some that are working on that I know
I remember two states have done that. North Carolina I remember for sure was one. Wasn't Texas another one? We really need to work on Ohio and Florida for sure as well. Good luck with Ohio. Florida I think could be a little bit easier. I haven't heard much of Florida having radical "preachers".

6. Exactly. We need to be organized and focused on taking back in 06.
We should pick one candidate per week, or some such thing.

15. Hear hear
All these poll numbers don't mean anything unless people go out and vote for progressive canidates. People who will get justice for Bush. I don't care who you are. If you aren't for supporting getting justice on Bush I'm not voting for you even if you are a democrat. And we have to encourage people to vote in the states that do have paper trails especially. Once we take back the House and Senate then we can have real hearings and a real commission on election fraud and get rid of those damn machine's. Never again!

9. THANK YOU! The GOP Refuses To Investigate Corruption In Iraq
and the corruption in FEMA and the waste that WILL happen in NOLA.

Clinton's success in dealing with Miss. floods and ND floods in 93/97 are stunning indictments of the GOP corruption.

My Lord, the GOP doesn't want to investigate how our troops n Iraq ended up with rotten food, not enough bullets, not enough armor or tanks....

Just look at Paul Hackett!!! He's a great example for how people are getting fed up with Bush. And that was before the hurricane! I wish and hope he runs for something again. Maybe he can run for Senate or something.

8. His presidency has clearly jumped the shark.
You're right -- there just doesn't seem to be much point focusing on him anymore. It's over, the emperor has no clothes, the proverbial fat lady has sung.

Sad really. I'll miss him. It was so much fun disliking him.

Frist isn't running for re-election
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 06:42 PM by FreedomAngel82
He's one of my senators so I keep an eye on him and he isn't running for re-election. We do have candiates up for his seat though. So far the only one's I really hear about are Harold Ford junior, Rosalind Kurita and Bob Corker. I saw a list a while back but I don't remember it and don't hear much from them. Of course I don't hear much about Corker either.

Good idea. And even focus on those who need support and help as well. Here in my town for Congress we'll have two people running. One guy is a democrat and the other is an indie running against a well known republican. In the last election the democrat did very well actually compared to the past. He was 30% and the republican was 50%. My town can go either way really so hopefully enough people are pissed to vote for either guys. My mother used to mostly vote for the republican guy cause she liked him and thought he did a good job but I told her he voted for the Terri Schavio nonsense and a few months ago she told me for the first time she was going to vote straight democratic. I'm sure there are countless others out there like my mother who just need help deciding on who to vote for. We have two DLC canidates who are running and while they're both okay only one of them has seriously showed any type of support for impeaching Bush and that's Ford junior. I'm not a huge Ford fan and I do like the other lady but I heard her interview on a local radio talk station (that truly is fair and balanced by the way) and someone asked her about the DSM and investigating it and she said she wasn't for it because "it would make the troops look bad". I was like, wtf??? So I'm going to vote for the person who has done something about the DSM and even though I'm not a huge fan I'd be happy to vote for him and give him a chance just to get justice for 2006.

street protests and trip to Crawford to support Cindy are all documented there. My sister and I have gotten charges dropped against protesters arrested at Bush events with video we shot that proved their innocence and by collecting info from may other witnesses.

I do not end my slicing here. Not by a long shot.

I post here to interact with other like minded individuals and get access to the great news folks here skim. Yes this is the choir. But, I get a lot of ammo for the battle from these threads that I take to the streets. I hope you are doing the same.

That is why it is NOT just preaching to the choir...

25. The point? Simple really... Justice. Its all about Justice now.
I do my part for the hopefully free and fair elections but I do know how to multi task.

If we do not keep trying to hold him accountable then he will likely get away with it. That disgrace of a man needs to spend time explaining himself at a war crimes tribunal (along with his order of high priests and priestesses).
