THE RED CROSS - A view from the scene
My family lives in south Mississippi. We are less than 50 miles from the French Quarter. We are fine and dandy (cept for the trees). Many of our neighbors and businesses are suffering BIG TIME.

I don't know what you all have heard but the RED CROSS is doing one helluva fine job of helping folks in the effected areas. THE RED CROSS IS KICKING ASS AND HELPING YOUR FELLOW AMERICANS. I am an eyewitness to that action.

I hope I have made myself clear. redcross.org.

My future savaging of republicans and chickenhawks depends on your outpouring of support to an organization that has proven it deserves it. Don't even think about disappointing a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. Ya'll have a fine non-hurricane destructive day.

7. I appreciate the info.
I was a bit worried about donating to the American Red Cross.
I have always believed in them. A good report is invaluable to many here, I am sure.

8. MaddyMcCall posted yesterday that the Redcross has
helped them, also. Makes me feel better about my donations to them.

10. Thank you Suich
If those trees don't kill us, they must make us stronger. I'm feeling pretty damn strong after toting them sob's today.
