Many of you do not have the opportunity to vote for me

11. i wish i shared your optimism
but i`m living in ground zero and he just gave a boat load of money to dixon and parts of whiteside county. if ruben can appeal to a wide range of voters and get them out in numbers he will put a big dent in this district

8. the only people who supported him
were the grass roots democrats in my district. the state and national party did very little ,they wanted "denny the fixer" to stay in power. ruben is a class act and with some state and national help he could put a big dent into denny`s hold on much of this republican district. he won`t win but he`ll scare the shit out of them. i hope next year i have a different job so this time i can do more work for his run.

14. it`s not so much the money
it`s the recognition from obama and durbin that would really help.if ruben can get the mexican american voters and other minorities to get out and vote he got a good chance... there were many house parties and a couple of sweet corn and chicken meet-ups in walton(dam good fried chicken and sweet corn and of course beer). he`s popular out here in the corn and bean fields he just needs more of everything...

13. Done. Now please endorse MY candidate? Thanks!
Jass Stewart for Mayor of Brockton, Massachusetts!

From: The Committee to Elect Jass Stewart outreach@JassStewart.com
Subject: I need your support for DFA endorsement

PRIMARY: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH ELECTION: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH

I need your help! Democracy for America is considering endorsing my campaign. An endorsement translates into important financial, volunteer, and logistical support. However, we need to demonstrate to DFA judges that we have strong, grassroots support!

Please take 1 minute (that's really all it will take), to recommend my campaign on the DFA Web site. We need your recommendation to DFA by Monday, August 8th.

Click on the following link to register your support:

17. Done, helderheid. Did you post this in the Illinois forum?
I think you should, there's a post there about Ruben's challenger, John Laesch. I saw it the other day and when I clicked on the link for his website, I wasn't too impressed. Mr. Laesch sounds too DLCish for my liking.

I don't know too much about the Kane County Dems, but I do know that this will be a huge uphill battle. I hope that if Ruben wins the primary that Sens. Durbin and Obama will be more "supportive" of his candidacy than they were in 2004.

I would love to see the lickspittle "Fat Denny" get the boot in 2006.
