1. I know I thought that yesterday when I was pumping my $2.75. |
|
Was trying to remember when it was that I was shocked at $1.89 earlier this year. Sheesh.

6. I caught myself being taken for a sucker last night |
|
Driving home from work I noticed Hess had Reg at 2.73 (in Tarpon Springs) and I thought "wow how cheap". Luckily it only took me a couple of seconds to remember only a couple months ago bitching it was $1.70!
I work in Tampa and this has really been pissing me off. Public Transportation in this area sucks. Luckily now they have bus service between Pinellas County and Tampa, but since I don't get off at the earliest until 1am there would be no way for me to get home. Can't move to Tampa since my free daycare is in Tarpon.

7. ooo the psychology of it! |
|
you pay out the ass for a week or two when it drops by 20 cents or 40.. and returns to normal suddenly it's cheap! 2.69 is still not cheap. (what it currently is here in PA)

9. $2.47 in MN. But at $63/barel, shouldn't it be closer to $2.29 again? |
|
There is still a lot of gouging afoot.

10. Co-worker of my husband was elated that gas was down $.20/gal |
|
My husband commented that didn't matter much if you didn't have a job or one that paid a decent wage. The guy had no reply. Imagine that?

Imagine you are rich.... Your gas bill is only $3,000 a month and that's still only 1% of your income. No sweating it, as you drive your hummer around using up the precious liquid as fast as you can. What do you care?
