Probably the most tasteless rant I have been emailed regarding Katrina

This is from an friend who is upset. Just another view on this thing. L

Been sitting here with my ass in a wad, wanting to speak out about the bullshit going on in New Orleans.

For the people of New Orleans... First we would like to say, Sorry for your loss.

With that said, Lets go through a few hurricane rules: (Unlike an earthquake, we know it's coming)

#1. A mandatory evacuation means just that... Get the hell out. Don't blame the Government after they tell you to go. If they hadn't said anything, I can see the argument. They said get out... if you didn't, it's your fault, not theirs.

(We don't want to hear it, even if you don't have a car, you can get out.)

#2. If there is an emergency, stock up on water and non-perishables. If you didn't do this, it's not the governments fault you're starving.

#2a. If you run out of food and water, find a store that has some. (Remember, shoes, TV's, DVD's and CD's are not edible. Leave them alone.)

#2b. If the local store is too looted of food or water, leave your neighbor's TV and stereo alone. (See # 2a) They worked hard to get their stuff. Just because they were smart enough to leave during a mandatory evacuation, doesn't give you

the right to take their stuff... it's theirs, not yours.

#3. If someone comes in to help you, don't shoot at them and then complain no one is helping you. I'm not getting shot to help save some dumbass who didn't leave when told to do so.

#4. If you are in your house that is completely under water, your belongings are probably too far gone for anyone to want them. If someone does want them, Let them have them and hopefully they'll die in the filth. Just leave! (For Christ's sakes, it's New Orleans, find a voodoo warrior and put a curse on them)

#5. My tax money should not pay to rebuild a 2 million dollar house, a sports stadium or a floating casino. Also, my tax money shouldn't go to rebuild a city that is under sea level. You wouldn't build your house on quicksand would you?

You want to live below sea-level, do your country some good and join the Navy.

#6. Regardless what the Poverty Pimps Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton want you to believe, The US Government didn't create the Hurricane as a way to eradicate the black people of New Orleans; (Neither did Russia as a way to destroy America). The US Government didn't cause global warming that caused the hurricane (We've been coming out of an ice age for over a million years).

#7. The government isn't responsible for giving you anything. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave, but you gotta work for what you want. McDonalds and Walmart are always hiring, get a damn job and stop spooning off the people who are actually working for a living.

President Kennedy said it best... "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

Thank you for allowing me to rant.

This was my response:

Truly, why spread this piece of idiotic garbage?
This person doesn't have a clue.
She needs to go straight to hell.
She is truly misinformed regarding the situation. Maybe if she would turn
off Fox News she might figure out what is REALLY going on the world--not
just the spoon-fed pablum fed to her by Bush apologists.
With that being said...I hope she has a time in her life to experience the
horrors firsthand of those she condemns.
I surely hope that this person doesn't pass herself off as a
Christian...cause she just failed the test.

Matthew 25:35-40
35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you
gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I
needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was
in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry
and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see
you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When
did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one
of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

1. Calling oneself a "Compassionate Conservative Christian" is blasphemy
-- tell your sicko friend that any Freeper calling himself a "Compassionate Conservative Christian" is breaking the Third Comandment by taking the Lord's name in vain and (if he's into the Rapture) - he'll be sitting in traffic when the Rapture comes.

With respect to "If someone comes in to help you, don't shoot at them and then complain no one is helping you. I'm not getting shot to help save some dumbass who didn't leave when told to do so." -- tell your sicko friend that Saint Florian tries to protect rescuers.

4. That's too big a word for Compassionate Conservative Christians
but they do understand "sinner" and "blasphemer" as per Genesis XXXVIII (Onan). That's where their Scriptural knowledge stops.

5. Are you sure this 'friend' is worth your time?!
She's heartless. May she never have to experience the horror of our fellow citizens in the Gulf States and learn firsthand that she is talking out her BUTT.

6. I saw an interview with a survivor talking about the shoes. She said
people had their feet covered with blisters. Shoes were drenched in the disgusting water and worthless. Glass and debris was all over the place. People really did need shoes to survive. It wasn't like a plasma TV. It was similar to food and water. People needed them for their entire families.

7. How does one "spoon" off of the people?
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 01:56 PM by suegeo
I thought spooning was something you did with your partner, just before drifting off to sleep.

It's "sponge", dumb ass, not spoon. Now, crawl back under that rock before I get really annoyed.
