Why would anyone listen to Steve Forbes?

Here's a guy who has never had to worry about finding a job or being fired. He's essentially worked in the same company his entire adult life. He's been President of Forbes Inc. since 1980. When his father died in 1991, he gained 51% of the voting shares in Forbes Inc. and the editor-in-chief status at Forbes magazine. He's also, coincidentally, one of the signers of PNAC's PNAC's Statement of Principles.

And he wants to tell you why the current tax system is unfair and why we need a flat tax revolution.

Would you listen to Steve Forbes? Would anyone listen to Steve Forbes if he didn't have the money to be heard and the magazine to pipe his opinions through?

I have been wondering the exact same thing.

The fact that Steve Forbes (as a representative of the oligarchy) is advocating this is, to me, reason enough to assume it's a scam.
