if there didn't spend sometime reading the posts? This is not only an information gathering place, seems to me it is meant to exchange views, frustrations, opinions, and so on (even my nightmares about * taking my home)...

if those saying their farewell are not capable to tolerate or accept others people's views, points and thoughts, why would they join a DEMOCRATIC titled site?

5. I think some just get burnt out

Welcome to DU!

There's a lot of anger here (justified, imo) and every time Bush gets away with something, it gets worse. Most try to channel their anger into activisim -- however, sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming and one just needs a break.

Now, this being the internet and all, there are some who just like to argue and get their jollies starting flame wars. They usually get banned or shunned or ignored (the "ignore" feature is great, btw).
