1. I just tried
White Rose and it's up. Maybe it's your internet provider?

10. My monitor is full of lines this afternoon.
I restarted and they are still there. I would be glad to hear if it was an XP or some other problem. Here, I'm thinking my monitor is actimg up.

11. Try this
Just out of curiousity - it uses a distributed cache,
if you can reach nyud.net, you should be able to get anywhere.
http://www.whiterosesociety.org.nyud.net:8090/

The home page for the cache project is http://www.coralcdn.org/
It has a box where you can put in any url to get the cache version.

17. Probably malware
as somebody else suggested.
A routing problem wouldn't last two weeks, they usually fix themselves within a few minutes.

Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com
and follow the instructions,
it is a free on-line malware scanner,
it will detect and remove almost everything,
and is very easy to use.
It will take a couple hours to scan your drive,
so you might want to let it run overnight.

13. Try downloading a spyware scan
and scan your computer for spyware, adware, malware, etc. These can really mess up your computer and internet. Spy Sweeper gives you a 14-day trial. It's good at finding stuff, but not at getting permanently rids of the bad things.

Hijack This is also a good scan, but fixing the problems can get confusing.

16. Some program updates have hostile programs.
Windows and realplayer have subprograms that interfere with other programs. Specifically Wuloader and realplay. If I'm having problems with a site. That's a sure sign one of those two nasty lil programs have reactivated themselves.
