Please join us on Monday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m., when Cindy Sheehan will speak at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, joined by the leaders of Veterans for Peace, Gold Stars Families for Peace, Military Families Speak Out, Iraq Veterans against the War, and United for Peace and Justice. Ms. Sheehan and each of her colleagues will address the devastating cost of the war in Iraq; their efforts on behalf of veterans and military families to spread the anti-war movement between Crawford, Texas and Washington, DC; and the upcoming national protest on September 24. Congressman Charles Rangel has also been invited to the event.
