I just slammed my sister and a priest of life

So my dad wakes me early to go with him to pick the fundie up from her church. She was having car problems or something. I reluctantly agreed because my old man helps me out with the bells and I need a shot of adrenaline in the morning.So I get there and there about three of them (sister and priest including) standing on the play ground, watching kids run around, while puffing on ciggaretes.
Now normally I wouldn't have said anything anything. But they were going off on how democrats kill babies yadda yadda yadda. So I look right into the pastors eyes and I said "How can you be pro life and smoke infront of these kids. I dont think blackening thier lungs and giving them cancer is pro life value?"
SO the priest says something about BIll Clinton, and I fired back and say "At least Bill Clinton never lost a whole city. All those poor unborn children in the city." They were dumbstuck. All the priest did was point to my old man and snap his fingers. I figured it'd be good to leave at that point.
Btw my old man spent the time home laughing and my sister hasn't spoken to me since. It's nice to play offense once in a while.

two things (rhetorical qs. I am afraid)

1. Would you describe what pro-life really means to you, please?

2. I have an adoption form (many minority children needing good homes). Would you fill one of them and provide a good home for him/her?

That will definitely stop the argument right there and give them something to mull about...

7. Smoking in front of children...

...is something which, as a (light) smoker, I never, ever do.

It's not the dubiously-hyped second hand smoke. It's the fact that kids look to us as examples of what adults do. I wouldn't want them to pick up smoking later in life because they saw me do it. Now if they pick it up because they genuinely like tobacco, that's their business, but there is no reason to give them a predisposition to start.

But I just got angry as to how the pro life crew is always so "morally" superior toward democrats and dont clean thier own cup.
IMO if a person wants to smoke or eat let them just dont preach morally superiority when we all - self included- have character flaws.
