to be headed by Rice.I kept hearing McClellan trying to defend this at the news conference today saying it was nothing new just further implementation. The New York Times says this will put accountability right into white house according to Sr admin official. NYT also says that this was put in place in August when they got together at the ranch. Do you think this is getting ready to oust Rumsfield first then others whom they see as a liability? If so do you think Rumsfeld will go quietly?

1. It sure dominated the news conference

I had to wonder about it being a smoke screen. But by itself it's big news since it puts Rummy on the outside. This is all getting like a chess game with a fourth dimension.

2. The Stabilization Group

has nothing to do with Iraq. They are trying to stabilize Der Bushitz falling poll numbers. Put Rice in charge so that she can take the heat and be the one to fall on her sword next Oct., when the voters are demanding "Off with their heads".
