Just Another Day of Lying Courtesy Of Freak Republic
From Freak Republic, concerning how they plan to "stealthily" serve up Bush's next anti-Roe SC Nominee:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1486411/posts#3

We need a more stealth candidate who we think will vote against it, but whose public utterances can't be used against her. Or him.

Correct, Peach.

POTUS will nominate a strict constructionist/Constitutionalist without a long paper trail.

---------------------------------------------
One thing is certain: You won't get any nominees that are ADVERTISED as strong anti-Roe nominees
----------------------------------------------

I also don't see the point in nominating someone who has said they would overturn Roe or has strongly implied it. That decision was a horrible example of judicial activism that has politicized and wrecked the Court, but we just don't have the numbers to get a avowed anti-Roe nominee confirmed.

Oh, would I have a wet dream if Bush ever had the gonads to nominate her.

2. Memo to Peach @FR: If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade,
that sets a precedent that the state or other "parties of interest" have the right to overrule a woman's decision about her reproductive health or termination of pregnancy. Think about it, Peaches. The government could tell you that you could not terminate a pregnancy because you wanted for a variety of circumstances. It could also mandate that YOU COULD NOT CONCEIVE. Do you really want the government to have that much control over your body and reproductive freedom?

It's not pro-life or pro-abortion. Never was. It's pro-choice and anti-choice. The question is whether a woman has the ultimate decision power about her reproductive freedom or is she subject to another entity--person or state--that can overrule her decision? Are women 100% legal human beings, or like the blacks of ol' Jim Crow, just 3/5 of a human being?
