Has the media reported military snipers on NOLA killing looters?
I just got a third party email from a from an old and trustworthy friend of mine. Her husband has a friend in NOLA assisting with the clean up and from time to time he gets an email about the conditions in NOLA. The guy who wrote the email is very, very conservative and probably tilting towards a rascist but he says things in the email that I haven't heard reported in the media.

He says there are an incredable number of murders that have happened. That there are green berets using night vision to kill looters every night. This email was dated Sept. 8th and he said there were still lots of bodies floating in the water. People who have been wading in the water have open burns and wounds from the chemicals in the water.

3. Nope...not the same...
This was an email from a friend that I grew up with. Her husband is a long time friend of the guy who sent the email. She forwarded the email to me because we have been talking about Katrina since it happened.

The information I posted above is a first hand account from someone on the ground in NOLA. It was dated Sept. 8th.

6. I am sure it is easier to just shoot to kill someone who has a
toaster oven in their hands rather than wound them and haul them in. This is Amurka, land of the shooting spree, home of the grave.

7. Not much in the news
but here's something:

Remember the 'shoot to kill' orders that were reported before the corporate US news media was brought back under control? This article suggests the presence of military snipers to enforce that.
