BushCo sets up website for donations from Americans for Iraq rebuilding
Edited on Sun Sep-18-05 11:20 AM by Mari333
Yes, they are that stupid.Perhaps all those keyboard "patriots" will start forking over dough but I wouldnt bet the farm on it

WASHINGTON - (KRT) - From the Indian Ocean tsunami to the church around the corner, Americans have shown time and again they are willing to open their pocketbooks for charity, for a total of about $250 billion last year alone.

But now, amid pleas for aid after Hurricane Katrina, the Bush administration has launched an unusual effort to raise charitable contributions for another cause: the government's attempt to rebuild Iraq.

7. What gall. They steal our money and ask for donations?
Hey, why don't you ask the people who profited from the museums you let them loot?

What nerve. What audacity.

19. Can someone tell me what these corporate pigs contribute?
The rich get massive tax cuts, and so much of our remaining resources are spent securing the "vital corporate interests" of these pigs that our own infrastructure falls apart. Our social programs are being dismantled. We're already subsidizing Corporate America with everything from tax money to blood, and they show their appreciation by gouging at the gas pump, shipping jobs overseas, and doing everything in their power to undermine domestic labor.

And now we're supposed to DONATE cash to Halliburton?

Something is seriously broken here.
