Must-see TV: "With God on our Side: Bush and Religion"

Showing today (Sun, 9/18) on the Sundance Channel at 6:15 PST.

Fantastic documentary, roughly divided into two parts. The first half traces the rise of the modern Religious Reich. The second half describes its influence on Shrub and the people around him.

(I believe this one is available for rental on DVD by now, too. Though I doubt your local Schlockbuster will carry it.)

And if that doesn't scare you enough, HBO is rerunning the frightening documentary on anti-choice kooks, Soldiers In The Army of God.

These people not only admit to being terrorists--they BRAG about it.

And I have a chronic neurological disorder.
I wish that someone would do a religious left special though to counter balance the loonies. I mean as al sharpton says "the christian right aren't the right christians."
