SCOTUS: The problem isn't Roberts |
|
The problem is a LIFETIME appointment at 50. There is a great possibility that Roberts and every Justice from this point forward will serve 30 years on the Court. I have a HUGE problem with this. I understand that they are NOT suppose to be partisan, an Ideologue. NO BODY should have this kinda power. I vote for MANDATORY retirement after 20 years of service. That is long enough to bring continuity to the COURT. BTW>..I want the same for the Appellate.

Just an amendment to the Constitution. BOTH sides want to repeal the 22nd. NOT easy but doable.

3. Do you mean Article 2, section 2, clause 2? |
|
"BOTH sides want to repeal the 22nd."
The 22nd Amendment, if that's what you meant, granted a Two Term Limit for the President.
