It's NOT "incompetence", or "irresponsibility". It is intentional.

I care too deeply about my country to perpetuate this lie that has kept America sitting on its hands for the past five years.

I value too much what has been given to all of us and has been so hard fought and earned by those before us to tolerate this cowardice and rationalization of the attacks on our country and others.

What these in this Administration have inflicted on our nation from September 11, 2001 to Hurricane Katrina is most emphatically intentional, pre-meditated and planned by many in this Administration.

The longer we allow ourselves to side step this truth, the more CITIES are vulnerable, the more lives are vulnerable, the more civil liberties will be slashed and burned. The more they will be allowed to bring more Blackwater mercenaries on our soul and make this country a place we won't even recognize any more.

They won't give up their seige of this nation unless we fight for what is ours. This country is ours. No matter how much money they have, this country, the city of New Orleans and the troops in Iraq DO NOT belong to them. They belong to us. They are our responsibility protect, defend and support.

Please stop allowing them dictate the message.

It was INTENTIONAL and IT IS INTENTIONAL.

And it will continue to be until we say ENOUGH.

Hasnt there been enough destruction done to this nation and other nations and this planet already?

1. It may be intentional, but it is nonetheless incompetence and
irresponsibility.

5. If it is intentional (and it is) then it is not irresponsible
it goes down to the point of criminality

And it is high time peoople accept this, for then maybe, just maybe, people will rise

2. I agree. Enough with the "blame game" time to "play" the SHAME game.
Shame, shame, shame on these criminals. Shame. It is not incompetence, it is intent.

3. I agree 100%
I don't think there was any incompetence here. They knew the power of the storm. They simply let it destroy two of America's oldest and best loved cities (Biloxi is limping badly, too) and murder thousands of the citizens of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

These are sociopaths on a scale we've seldom seen before.

4. Whatever it was, it's criminal.
MIHOP, LIHOP, manslaughter, reckless endangerment, negligent homicide, perjury, obstruction of justice . . .

Citizen's arrest. The first step toward restoration of rule of law. September 24, Washington, DC.

7. I think it was NSMA that coined MIWOP.
Make it worse on purpose.

6. "malice aforethought"
May have picked it up from an Agatha Christie book, but it seems to apply here.

12. But when you talk to reich wingers, remeber: incompetence
I mean, there really only two possible explainations for what is going on.

They are either letting things get this bad intentionally (which a freeper will never believe), or they are just completely incompetent.
