5. Boxer, Waters, McKinney, Tubbs-Jones, Jackson (both), Sharpton,
Mosely-Braun, Brown, Jackson Lee, Rangel...Heck the whole CBC, really.

Pelosi is a mixed bag to me. I love Dean although He's maybe a bit more moderate than I would like. And Bernie Sanders is an awesome prgoressive even though he's not a dem.

13. Robert Byrd, who stood up with no support to speak against the
foolishness of the Iraq War. Also second all your choices, especially Gore and Kerry, who have spent a lifetime in public service helping the ones who need someone to stand up for them.
