I realize its 5 days out at best and may or may not develop into a hurricane, but I have to ask... Do you think they will handle this one any better than the last ? Or are our "disaster" resources spread too thin right now ? How much additional cost (or specifically "debt" since apparently tax cuts remain on the table) will this bring ?

Have we ever had a hurricane session that left the "majority" (in terms of coast line miles) of the gulf coast in ruins ?

3. The long and short of it..
Do you think they will handle this one any better than the last?

--No, but they'll look they are. Lots of PR, lots of emergency assistance, lots of talk about how well they handled it.

Or are our "disaster" resources spread too thin right now?

--The only disaster resources I've seen are the impromptu American and foreign offerings. FEMA? Still a joke and not a very funny one.

How much additional cost (or specifically "debt" since apparently tax cuts remain on the table) will this bring?

--Debt? This administration doesn't have debt. They have 'opportunity costs' or 'America Serves' costs or maybe, 'Spirit of Servitude' costs. Debt? Never. Republicans are the conservatives don'tcha know.
