A while back, someone (I believe it was Bouncy Ball) suggested a march for the uninsured; it was tentatively titled the "March for American Lives." I was wondering what is happening with this? Is it going forward as named?
If not, may I suggest that this name be used for next week's D.C. rally?
The name "March for American Lives" would be a good way to combine the themes of peace and the Gulf Coast tragedy under one umbrella (as well as highlighting the plight of all of us under the current administration's policies).
The March for American Lives...
The lives of soldiers The lives of women The lives of minorities The lives of the poor The lives of the elderly The lives of the disabled The lives of all Americans.*
*This list is in no particular order and if I left anyone out, it wasn't intentional.
(If the march for the uninsured is going ahead as named, I'll update later and ask to disregard this message. I don't want to take anything away from that march, as it's extremely important.)
