It's time the real conservatives got rid of this crew.
They've had Democratic liberalism on the run for around 10 years now. They control the three branches of government. But it's all a close thing -- balanced on a knife edge. They won the presidency with 51% of the vote. It just takes a breath of wind to destroy that balance. Katrina was more than a breath. The conservatives will soon be out of power.

True Conservatives should abandon this crew. This present crew of incompetents, greedheads, powermongers, and manipulators.

I've never agreed with conservatives. But there used to be some that were pragmatic, competent, and decent. They should return to being that. I want opponents with values I respect. The country would be healthier for it.

1. I was thinking the same thing the other day
I remember back when it looked like it was going to be McCain VS Gore I had conservative friends who I would have disagreements with but we could talk we could have our differences and still have a toast at the end of the conversation with the ending comments being something like "hey I know my party has its problems so does yours, we may disagree slightly on the way things outta be, but you're a human being and an America therefore still my brother"

Man do I miss those days....I remember when I would argue with a conservative they would simply think that corporations should be allowed to govern themselves...but at the same time they totally would agree that they should take care of their workers and pay fair wages.

I can't think of a single real conversative I ever spoke to that would agree with lifting the Davis-Bacon act.

That's a NEO-CON thing not a true conservative thing.

2. I Agree
I used to be able to get along with conservatives & respect them, even though I disagreed with them. But not since the neocons & fundies took over their party. They don't realize it now, but the loonies they are associated with now will hurt their party later. The Republicans will be a national joke, & they won't win elections much anymore. The things they did to the liberals will come back to haunt them, because they will replace us as the group to hate & ridicule. And since I have been annoyed with them for so long, I can't wait until it happens. Let *them* deal with the depression I have felt!

3. I can't believe you still think
that * won the election. They STOLE it, plain and simple. And they will continue to steal it until we can force there to be paper trails.

4. On the One Hand You're Right,...
...but on the other hand, I'm no longer willing to give ANY republican any slack by saying that they are TRUE conservatives.

They've sold their asses to bushco lock, stock & barrel. Screw 'em and take them ALL down!

It won't happen, and I know that some are better than others, but they've been at WAR with any Democrat since '94. I've decided that its WAY past time to start returning the favor.

5. That's why I'm here.
Imo, I'm a Republican without a Party. Don't know what the GOP is anymore, but I wish they'd stop dragging the word Republcan through their slime.

Thanks for the safe harbor till the madness can be stopped.
