Bush Katrina Ratings Fall After Speech

September 18, 2005--Thirty-five percent (35%) of Americans now say that President Bush has done a good or excellent job responding to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. That's down from 39% before his speech from New Orleans.

The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows that 41% give the President poor marks for handling the crisis, that's up 37% before the speech.

It would/will mean that anyone who still clings to the idiotic "well, we haven't had another terrorist attack since 9/11, so he must be doing a good job, huh?" or "he's keeping us SAFE!!!" will be proven to be a fool. That mewling crap just won't wash anymore. Not even for them. That'll be the end, then and there. And I think they realize it.

Otherwise, why would it even be a kkkarl rove battle cry - for bush to open his checkbook and start throwing money at the mess? That they've even had to consider, no less openly suggest a HUGE federal government involvement that is being compared to FDR means they're out of other options.
