Still Clueless, But Posing Hard --pix->>>
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 11:01 AM by Stephanie

Posing to look as if you are working is hard work!

U.S. President George W. Bush (R) participates in a Homeland Security Council meeting in the Cabinet room of the White House in Washington September 19, 2005. Senior members of his cabinet are (L-R) EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson, Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, Secretary of Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt, Secretary of Interior Gale Norton and Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff. 4. Yep, I'm sure he's making all kinds of important decisions.

Just like Reagan, this guy is a puppet who has not made one decision during his time in office. He even has to ask to go potty. What a freaking national nightmare. Robber barons running the country with an ignorant, vapid, clueless stuffed shirt for their front man. At least Reagan could pretend he was in charge. This buffon is a joke!

5. funny u post this
because during the airing of this homeland security meeting, i made the comment to others about how awkwardly emphatic he was with his hand movements, gestures, facial expressions, etc.

he was no doubt coached to do this to get such pics as these splashed around...

ya know, to get the "wow look at that concerned president" look on his face.

so lame.

10. It's embarrassing we are expected to act as if he's the President.
How stupid does that make US look?

6. He may be able to fake the facial expressions like a good actor but
those eyes are empty. Like David Letterman said, "the ballroom's open but nobody's dancing." Even an oscar worthy actor can't pull off intelligence where there is none.

16. He's really getting ripped off on his suits, BTW...

I collect vintage menswear;
and those things he wears do NOT look like
high-quality hand-tailored garments to me.

Frankly, they seem to be about the quality
of a $150 "special" from one of the
"Men's Wearhouse"-type discounters.

Not that this really means anything...
it just always struck me as odd.

(edited because I can't spell "as", lol)

13. You may remember it was during his campaign in 2000 that Karen Hughes
suddenly started claiming Bush had developed a "Presidential bearing." Repeated it over and over. It appeared they had just accomplished teaching him how to appear "Presidential" and wanted everyone to notice, sorta as if he'd just learned how to ride a bike.

It was possibly the oddest campaign move I've ever witnessed. A man or woman who's qualified to be a President doesn't have to seem Presidential. He/she IS Presidential.
