"I don't trust Bush to do any of this right." - Al Franken
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 11:24 AM by Eric J in MN
on how Bush probably won't repeal his tax cuts for the rich, cut pork from the recently passed transportation bill, etc., to pay for rebuiliding New Orleans.

9. OMG....that should be a bumper sticker!
"The United States of America: Just another failed George W. Bush enterprise"

BRILLIANT!!! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

That line totally underscores the point that he's always been a failure, always will be a failure--and dammit--we told you so!

13. Thanks Benhurst!
I'm going to the rally this Saturday in Seattle (can't make it to DC), and been trying to think of a slogan for a sign. If you don't mind, I'm going to use yours!! It is absolutely RIGHT ON!!!!

6. "Probably" won't repeal his tax cuts?
He'd sooner lose a leg. That was his Daddy's greatest failure, and Dubya's determined to be in every way, shape, or form, the not-Poppy.

He probably pisses sitting down just to be different from his Daddy.

8. Which is why anyone would be for pulling out of Iraq immediately, too
I don't know why we all discuss these plans to save Iraq and NO and Katrina victims when they are all premised on a not-incompetent, not-selfinterested, not-cronyinfested administration.

POINT ONE of any plan has got to be, who is going to execute it and how do we keep Bush from having ANY input?

15. Why would Bush, Inc. show mercy on its victims, now?
We just lost a city, energy costs are crippling us, and we've lost about every friend in the world. Bush, Inc. has us all lined up for the kill, it would appear.
