I just turned on C-Span 1 and there he was. David Gregory asking about "Bush trying to have it all" - guns and butter (?), fund Iraq, have tax cuts and now he want to put together the largest reconstruction... cut off by Scottie.

What have I missed?

As far for as our cube rats friends. So far nothing exciting. Life in Perfectville is well... perfect. Bush can still keep all tax cuts and pay for Katrina, the war, and prescription drugs for seniors, with the boundless money mine that he delves in, in Perfectville. We learn absolutely nothing from these press conferences. Scottie's sole purpose is to get through the conference without revealing anything other than the "talking points" that every other republican spouts. You can see the relief on his face when he says, "That's it. See you tomorrow."
