saw a couple of liberal t-shirts today...
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 01:40 PM by deadparrot
Granted, I am in college, but it is a college that has its fair number of conservatives, seeing as it's in a rural area of a red state. Anyway, I saw a couple today that brought a smile to my face.

One was simple, white lettering on black, with Kanye West's quote "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

The other was a picture of what I assume was the 2004 electoral map. The key at the bottom showed the blue states marked as "Democrats" and the red as "Complete Idiots."

It made me feel good to know that I'm not alone in my thinking. :)

1. I had to do an interview at a radio station today
as I was walking out I saw a car in the parking lot with the sticker: the letter F and then under it it said the president. Made me smile!

3. That's a reference to John Kerry being our President

4. Um... Isn't that actually saying "Fuck the President?"
Or do you know that already and I'm taking you too seriously?

5. I think it might be a reference to the W: The President stickers.

Those little square ones, after (obviously) his middle name, Walker.

And Kerry's middle name (Forbes?) began with an F, so it was kind of a spoof of that.

If I'm reading it correctly.

7. The same company also makes "F FEMA" and other similar stickers...
Which, of course, don't make sense with the "F" standing for Forbes instead of the expletive.

Although, yeah, you are right -- Kerry's middle name is Forbes.

9. Then I don't know.
I've never seen one, but the reply was written in such a way that I connected the two. Just a guess, and a wrong one at that. :)

10. I've always read it as "Fuck the President"
And so did my 60-something y.o. mother!

12. It could very well be (and it sounds like it is),
Like I said, I've never seen it. I was just trying to elaborate on what the replier was describing, "trying" being the key word. :)

2. I overheard two men in the store today
One was middle aged, the other probably in his 70's. I'm not sure what they were talking about, but I caught the word "Bush" and immediately after the older man said loud enough for me to hear "he sure is ruining this country isn't he?"

Minor little instances like this always make me feel good, knowing that other people see.

8. I have a great bumper sticker
that says : "GIVE BUSH THE BIRD!"...and it shows a pair of hands, releasing the Peace Dove. It's a very clever double entendre.

No, you are definitely NOT alone!!
