More rumors of indictments coming from Fitzgerald...

Just saw this posting on Usenet that was just put on Usenet a while ago, that notes that "Us Intel News" on Turner Radio Network last night had some more info on pending indictments for various members of the Bush administration that mgiht be coming from Fitzgerald, according to Tom Heneghen. A lot of heavy rumors here. Maybe some can find some news stories to back this up or a transcript of this radio show?

Tom Heneghen Reports Movement Within Chicago Federal Court In Upcoming Indictments Of Bush Administration

Last evening on the "US Intel News" show on the Turner Radio Network, Tom Heneghen gave an update on the progress of the grand juries in Chicago concerning their impending indictments of various members of the Bush administration, both past and present.

Apparently, there is brisk movement within the US Federal Court of Chicago to get these indictments out despite intense pressure from within by a Judge Magistrate named Mark R. Filip, who has thus far suppressed them from being released to the public, according to Heneghen.

"We are heading toward a real showdown in United states of America, and we are heading toward what we might be looking at is a constitutional crisis," stated Heneghen emphatically about the Chicago court situation.

"There is team of judges that have decided that they are no longer going to tolerate this type activity and I believe they are well on their way to try TO FORCE THESE INDICTMENTS OUT rather than keep them sealed. And as I said, a showdown is emerging where Bush and his gang and Clinton and their gang, which are tied together in all of this, are about to be brought to justice."

The impending indictments reportedly name George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Ted Olson, John Ashcroft, Scooter Libby, Condeleezza Rice, among many others, for crimes which include perjury, obstruction of justice and treason for the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame, in addition to other charges, all of which have been sitting idle with Judge Filip for several weeks now.

He does cite this as having been aired on Turner Radio Network last night, so if we could track down a transcript to that, we perhaps could at least verify that this stuff was being said there, which give it more credibility than just a usenet post.

As for whether "Clinton and his gang" are involved, I wouldn't want to dismiss this as a possibility. I certainly wouldn't believe this unless I had a firm and more credible allegation that this is so, but consider the following notes:

- Sibel Edmonds noted that both Democrats and Republicans were involved in the activities she was witnessing, and someone like Clinton being involved definitely would make it a bipartisan effort to keep her stories covered up, which they have been to this point.
- Dennis Hastert, who Edmonds and the Vanity Fair article alleges was involved with bribes from Turks to keep the Armenian Genocide from happening, cited a letter from President Clinton as the reason he pulled off that legislation from being voted upon. If it was the bribes that had them pull that legislation instead of the "convenient" letter that Clinton gave him, it wouldn't be too hard to extrapolate that Clinton might have been involved in that as well, would it not?

I certainly wouldn't want to allege anything against Clinton until I had someone that had some firm evidence that he was involved in something, but I'm trying to keep an open mind as to who these "Democrats" are that Sibel Edmonds is talking about.

I think we're talking about a conspiracy these guys are dealing with that could be perhaps decades in the making, with the JFK assassination, etc. involved too. In starting to read books like Confessions of an Economic Hitman, it's not hard to see that this sort of criminal activity could be widespread and be going on within both parties. They both have to "answer" to all of this corporate corruption that is paying for our elections now.

Sometimes there's potentially grains of truth in every piece of stuff that "floats" around. Don't know if there is any here, as it does sound totally in left field now that some folks fill in more "gaps" of it being bogus.

Hopefully when the indictments come out, we can get some real stuff that comes close to what these stories are alleging.

Fitzgerald has been sitting on this stuff for a while now. I wonder if he's waiting for resolution on Edmonds' case in the Supreme Court in October to determine how he should go further depending on whether the states secrets act will be in the way of his investigation or not.

grand juries are encouraged to investigate on their own, request documents, question witnesses and make their own decisions. I think this is encouraging, the Time reporter said that the GJ was mostly African Americans. Considering the demographics, African Americans from DC will not be friendly to the current government.

is entirely different than the DC Grand Jury which is the one dealing with the Valerie Plame affair.

Fitzgerald is a DA in Chicago, AIRC, and THAT Grand Jury is hearing an entirely different case which has nothing to do with his work as a special prosecutor in the Valerie Plame case.

This rumor was out before, and AIRC, was considered to be not credible.

I have no idea what case Fitzgerald is handling in Chicago.

This started as a claim on Tom Flocco's website and has been throughly debunked. Tom Flocco is insane, one of his latest stories is about how the bush and clinton families plotted to kill JFK jr.

The blinking red light that stands out here is that the grand jury is in DC not Chicago.

First...the indictments today were about George Ryan...the former Repugnican Governor of Illinois. He was booooosh's "campaign manager" in 2000 but was disgraced by the investigation and didn't run for re-election.

Fitzgerald took over this investigation in 2001 and left last year to handle the Rove matter. This is just the culmination of his and others work in nailing this scumbag...who turned the Secretary of State's office into a political patronage machine, and by selling truck licenses to those who didn't qualify, it led to the needless deaths.

A couple other red flags. "Turner News Service". What the hell is this? Turner sold his "News Service" (CNN) to Time/Warner. I know of a Jones Radio Network but not a Turner network and never heard of either the show or the host before.

Isn't the grand jury Fitzgerald is using for the Valerie Plame outing case sitting in DC and not in Chicago? Fitzgerald is the US Attorney in Chicago, but wouldn't he be using his special prosecuter status instead of his US Attorney status for the Plame case? And, wouldn't that grand jury sit somewhere around DC?

Also, isn't George Bush and Dick Cheney immune from prosecution until they can be impeached? So, they could be unnamed or sealed targets, but not officially prosecuted until post-impeachment?

I'm obviously not a legal expert, but I'd really appreciate any clarity that could be provided by DUers.

I think that's what we have a message board like this for. To go through and look at a rumor like this and tear it apart if it is bunk, and build it up if it has some basis. Thanks to some of those here that have given a useful critique.

You mention 1984 that we're moving too. I had a spooky experience just a half hour ago (after I made this original post) on the way home from work. I stopped at a local Von's to pick up some groceries and grabbed a bit over $20 of groceries, etc. When they deducted my discounts with my Von's card, low and behold, the total came out to:
