London bombers 'did practice run'

The suicide bombers who attacked London on 7 July reportedly staged a
practice run on the Tube at the end of June.

The Evening Standard has reported that police now believe the men
carried out a reconnaissance mission.

Police have studied tens of thousands of hours of CCTV footage as part
of their investigation into the attacks which killed 52 people and the
bombers.

BBC Home Affairs correspondent Danny Shaw said that police trawling
through CCTV footage "saw that three of the bombers had carried out a
dummy run" on the stations that were later bombed.
