Did we learn nothing from "Brownie?"
What "message" do we send to Republicans and the public when we allow a lifetime appointment to a guy who withholds parts of his resume and who cant answer a single question?
What are we going to do about the next Bush appointee with gussied up resumes? Free pass?
Why are Democrats not bringing up "Brownie" in light of this?
Would the average moderate American not find common sense in these talking points:
"In light of Bush appointees such as "Brownie", who forged his resume, we cant allow a vote on Roberts until we see his ENTIRE resume."
"For the life of him, he cant even give us frank, "yes or no" answers to questions about issues Americans care about. We cant risk another Brownie- we need to know EVERYTHING before we give Roberts this lifetime job."
"The ball is in his court- he could give us his full, complete resume and give us simple "yes or no" answers and then the "up or down vote" will happen."
Roberts should be BLOCKED. This is "Brownie" all over again- but this time it's for life.
