Eunice Shriver, Maria Shriver
I just saw a snipet on TV that makes me slightly furious. Eunice Shriver and Maria Shriver campaigning for Ahnuld Swartzengroper. Eunice Kennedy Shriver's oldest surviving brother(at the time) was murdered while serving as a Democratic President of the US(and democratically elected too). Later, again, her oldest surviving brother was murdered while campaigning for the Democratic nomination for President of the US. Her husband, Sargent Shriver, was the Democratic nominee for Vice President in 1972. She is now campaigning for an accussed serial sexual predator. She should be ashamed to visit her brother's grave in Arlington.
I think Teddy should denounce his sister. I think all of her neices and nephews should denounce her. She won't be stuck with that son of a bitch. I live in California, and I will.
She and Maria can kiss my ass, forever.

2. I'm disappointed to hear Eunice is campaigning for him
I know he's her son-in-law, but I wish she would've just stayed out of it.

3. Blood is thicker than water... that's all there is to it...
yeah, I'm disappointed too, but sometimes you do things against your better judgement for your children......Yes, she'd probably be better off trying to talk Maria out of that marriage, but that is NOT the Kennedy way folks.... Face it, these women have some warped sense of loyalty or whatever that allows them to sit there while their husbands engage in extramarital actitivities left and right.

I DO truly feel sorry for Maria. She is a shell of a woman now and clearly derives all her sense of self-esteem from Arnold. Yeah, the situation is clearly of her making, but.....The whole Kenedy family has dealt with so much tragedy yet have continued in sincere public service that I just have to give them some wide berth.

4. Those are my sentiments exactly
They are working for the Republican party, so I think they should get the hell out of the Democratic party. They are a mockery to their entire family. Shame on them. If my husband should decide to run as a republican for "anything", he would not have my support.

:spank:

6. Perhaps she is enjoying the irony given what Republicans
did to her husband to stand in a crowd and have them cheer for her.

8. OMG! Keep Arnold away from the children!
-snip-

(Eunice) added, "I think he'd be a very good governor because he is interested in all (kinds of) subjects, particularly subjects that pertain to children."

9. I just heard Arnie and Maria compared to JFK and Jackie
Entertainment Tonight gushing over the Kennedy glamour she would bring to the governor's mansion. Sickening nepotistic scarecrow riding on her dead uncle's coat tails like a harpy from hell.

10. Kenney women love powerful men and being abused
When I heard Maria's "10 Reasons Why I Love Arnold" speech, I couldn't believe it. Reason number one: "He's smart." What? How stupid are YOU? Ignorant catch phrases and empty generalisations are "smart"?

13. From a book written 10 or 11 years ago about Poppy
not entirely on subject, but this just jumped out at me as I was reading:

George Bush:
The
Unauthorized
Biography

by
Webster G. Tarpley
&
Anton Chaitkin

But surely all was not spiritual that weekend in Camp David. One sign is that First Lady Barbara Bush came back with a broken leg. What had happened? A few weeks earlier, George and Bar had granted a joint interview to two fawning and sycophantic reporters from People weekly. During this interview, Bush was asked, "Mr. President, this is an understandably tough period. How do you deal with the stress?" Bush answered: "Well, I have this dog named Ranger and this wife named Barbara and a couple of grandchildren." At this point, Barbara Bush broke in to say "Thought you were gonna say, 'I kick the dog, kick the wife.'" Had Barbara Bush suffered the fate of a battered woman during that pre-war weekend in Camp David? The official story was that she had slid down an icy slope on a saucer sled and hit a tree, producing a "non-displaced fracture of the fibula bone in the left leg." According to Mrs. Bush's press secretary, Anna Perez, George had yelled "Bail out! Bail out!" as Mrs. Bush accelerated toward the tree, but she had not heeded his advice. The incident had allegedly occurred during a sledding party after church on Sunday, January 13, in the presence four of the Bush's grandchildren (ages 6,4,4, and 1), and Bush loyalist Arnold Schwarzenegger, the chairman of the President's Council on Physcial Fitness. Bush's daughter Dorothy LeBlond and his daughter in law Margaret, may have been present or nearby, as may Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver of NBC, and her infant daughter. But only the First Lady's press secretary spoke in public of the incident, which has therefore remained somewhat obscure. When the presidential party returned by helicopter to the White House that evening, Mrs. Bush was carried indoors in a wheelchair.
