The odd thing is at the end Brook said to send in a tape of yourself if you think you could be the lead singer next year. Does this mean that JD is going to sing for one year only?

away the best selling downloads on MSN. He's had the number one song for weeks, and currently has 6 out of the top 10.

I did not want Marty or Mig to win - JD totally deserves to be stuck with them! I think Marty looked relieved when he "lost" and they interviewed Marty's brother on TV just now and he said that he was very happy with the results!

Just wait till JD wakes up tomorrow morning and realizes what he has gotten himself into! LOL

I can't wait for Marty's music to entertain us for years to come - what a great find!

13. Marty said in a recent interview that he would make his way back to..

his band. INXS knew that they wouldn't be able to keep Marty. JD on the other hand comes across as needy. Marty is a smart educated professional. Marty also has an independent streak that is very obvious even to the casual observer. Marty will do fine. He was the top vote getter and the top download seller from the show.

7. JD won. Even though Marty far outperformed him tonight. JD

sounded like a throw back compared to Marty. Still, I always expected JD to win since the band said weeks ago that JD could easily sing their back catalog. They were looking for a singer who could sing their style. Therefore, I expected JD to win.

But Marty RAWKS!!! I would go to see him in heartbeat. But I wouldn't go see JD for free.
