EBAY AUCTION: "Katrina's victims"... PROFOUND
Edited on Tue Sep-20-05 10:45 PM by Bluebear

I think the photo of that stately old lady wrapped in a flag will be THE iconic photo of this tragedy, besides our monkey President playing guitar. Look at the hands of the people of color reaching from out of the water. Compelling, yes?

"100% of proceeds will be donated to Katrina's victims."

Bless you, shaboobooisme. (Artist) Bless you.

"In 1996 I was in an auto accident that put me in a coma for a month with a traumatic head injury. I awoke temporarily paralyzed and unable to do even simple tasks, such as removing 3 pennies from a wad of play dough. After years of therapy, I am still living with headaches and double vision but, I feel blessed to be able to paint."

3. Yup. He caught what it was. WH & GOP playing up the "it is their
fault they didn't evacuate" despite all the evidence that some of the vulnerable had no choice.

4. I see Texans are being allowed to take pets in cages on the buses...
as well as one suitcase of personal items. A great deal of Galveston is also poor and carless, evidently. I am so grateful that some compassionate lessons were learned. (Nightline is discussing some steps Galveston is taking and they learned from New Orleans.)
