Just plain fucking no.

4. No a different hack, Jim Barksdale
who, I believe is the son of an Admiral who was a Nixon and Reagan aide.

5. I was the one who said they should be placed side by side.
I have no idea what the caption would be, but that is Bush smiling while a corpse is draped over a fence three weeks after the hurricane.

There has been a total lack of urgency on the part of the federal government.

Thanks for placing the pictures together.

10. Or perhaps it's working out very well for him?
I like "cause and effect" as someone posted above.

I can't believe how blatantly, undisguisedly heartless they are.

(Someone else just reminded me about his remark when he was presented with a portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr. "I can't wait to hang it." He then paused for laughter.)

9. No. What is wrong is that these bodies are still out there
There is no excuse for a body to still be out there. Did you look at that corpse? It is almost a skeleton. Is that what they are waiting for, for the bodies to become skeletons?

The sin belongs to bush*. Period.

11. It's reality thanks to Bush's massive Homeland Security Department
well funded by U.S. taxpayers, but obviously not at the service of U.S. citizens.

There was no sense of urgency when it was time to save the living, supply them with drinking water, or help them in any way. Now, there is no sense of urgency in collecting the dead.

Bush created the Department of Homeland Security. This is what Homeland Security's FEMA does for us.

18. No. It needs to be seen
I am faxing that picture to my Senators and Congresswoman to let them know we know what is going on. This needs to be seen, 3 weeks after the hurricane, we still have the dead on our streets.

3 weeks!

That is a lot of time to at least cover bodies in public view.

12. Excellent example of the fact that Bush is still clueless about what
actually happened to the poor people in New Orleans.

He's smiling because he has already gotten his investigation team together.

Isn't it odd that the day of 9/11 Cheney first brought up no investigation and then his boy echoed him pretty soon after. It took two years to get a bipartisan panel to investigate and they had a limited amount of time to do their investigation.

Now everyone is blaming Bush, he has taken responsibility for the first time in his life. Now he goes immediately gets an investigation underway regarding Federal, State, and Local authorities.

Both would imply an attempt of something to cover up IMHO.

15. It's not true George didn't lift a finger. There's no fingerless guitar!
Smirk: "That's a few thousand fewer Democrat voters."
Or * is thinking about something funny that happened on Scooby-Doo.

Evil is a lot more mundane than psycho Charles Manson or a horned, flaming Devil or hand-wringing, scheming Lex Luthor. It's sometimes packaged in a smirking frat boy.

What's wrong with this country that TWICE we almost elected him? We who voted and campaigned against * were opposing the prick because the appointment of inept cronies, the looting of the treasury, the deepening of poverty, harm to the natural environment, harm to human health, invasion of other countries, collapse of diplomacy, the unnecessary death and disfigurement of hundreds of thousands of human beings... it was all predictable.

After all, it could be a picture from Rwanda or Somalia. Yes it is from the AP, via Yahoo.

23. That was their point as well.
Once I showed them the yahoo link, they said, "Yeah, ok, now I believe it was current". Questioning things is good as long as it gets them to think.

Actually, I think you should combine the photo on the right with one of Barr in her best pearls, just to remind the people of NO what a 'good deal' they're getting. Being left hung out to dry.
