I tried to read Maureen Dowd article and they are now making you sign up for $7.95 a month or $49.95 a year. This sucks. Is there any other way to find op/ed's, etc. without paying?

1) Google the article's title. Often people have (illegally) placed the article in its entirety on their website.
2) The new program has a 14 day free trial. I suspect if you create new accounts using different emails and credit card #'s, you could probably get multiple free trials.
3) If you subscribe to the NYT home delivery you get it for free.

5. This mainly seems to apply to Op/Ed columns. Of course they are |
|
the primary reason many of us read the NYT, and they know that of course. But regular news articles are still good with the old free subscriptions.
