1. Really? I found there was a lot of racist rightwing rhetoric there

one of the mods is a former Reagan repug, and it definitely SHOWS.

Know a lot of people who left there for these reasons, and most of them now refer to the place as "the swamp"

2. Wow...that wasn't my experience...

I went over there this a.m and there was a good Cindy Sheehan thread running. Admittedly it was my first time there, but it didn't seem to R/W to me at all.

The dark backdrop was definitely a downer and gave the place a "swampy" feel.

I try to check out as many new websties as possible, and it seemed like a good one on first review.

3. maybe they've cleaned up their act, but they lost a whole huge

contingent a few months ago--ironically enough, mainly pro-Cindy people (in fact many with direct personal connections with cindy)
