through eBay auction. Robby Gordon's helmet throwing incident made all the sports shows Sunday and Monday and cost him thousands of dollars in fines. However, it looks like his wreck and temper tantrum during the race at New Hampshire might raise a small fortune. The current bid for his helmet is now over 9.7 million dollars!

...I do frequent E-bay and other than fraud a bid is considered a valid contract....For fun, click on "bid history"...this shows who bid how much, and when....it also shows canceled bids and why.I saw this this morning and stand in awe of people willing to bid so highly to help hurricane victims for a fairly small piece of sports trivia....PS:the number beside the bidders name is completed E-Bay transactions,you can click on a bidder and see what other people say about doing business with them...
