Kyra Phillips...
WOW...the worst suck-up performance I've ever seen since Frank Sinatra used to appear in Atlantic City and have all the staff kiss his behind.

Even General Honore was embarassed by her nonsense this PM on CNN. "My Hero"...etc. Especially after she tried to ream Pelosi the other day and had her fat ass handed to her.

Wotta moran...

5. Phillips is so incredibly bad- I think she may *really* be
on the Bush payroll. She pushes GOP talking points hard, and she does it with determination. She got a pretty clear agenda.

She is absolutely horrible at her job, yet she thinks she's great! A legend in he own tiny mind!!! Anyone recall when Scott Ritter was still allowed to be seen on TV? He ripped her a new one to the point she CRIED!!!

This twit would do ANYTHING she's told to do by management...

Worst. Talking Head. Ever.

8. i caught the last few seconds of that and it seems..

to me that the RWer's and their minions in the MSM like Phillips want to appropriate Gen. Honore in some way...to make it seem as if he's one of theirs or on their "side". He being active duty military can't be overtly partisan beyond his sworn constitutional duty to country, flag, cmdr & chief, etc., so, they can paint him with any brush they want and he's really not in a position to dispute or debate the issue. He's the kind of 'colorful' character that the avg. person finds appealing or intriguing so if they can convey a msg of "he's on 'our' team" to the viewer or in the blogosphere, they figure it makes them (RW) look good by associaton...IMO

13. I think you nailed it
They love to appear reasonable by association.

As soon as the Katrina footage started rolling the little shits started scraping the W'04 stickers off their cars - they don't want to be associated with a loser - not because they give a damn about GWB himself.

It's a given they think the dems are "losers" so the only option (no worries about them suddenly sporting Dem stickers) they have left is to either attack indiscriminately or look for another "hero" role model, even if they have to "borrow" him.

Shameless, as usual. Incapable of shame, actually - that requires a conscience.

Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 01:47 PM by underpants
even if he isn't they just continue their ownership of the military myth;-)

I have noticed the same thing. They try to claim him but he makes statements that don't favor either side.

I think I can see a Senate run by him in the not so distant future.

12. I Tell Ya It's The Uniform...
Anyone remember Kyra getting all giggly in the early days of the Iraq invasion...stationed on the aircraft carrier; looking like a high school cheerleader ready to service the starting 5.

17. I only watch Anderson Cooper
on CNN now other than for news recaps if something big is going down. Ted Turner must be horrified at what has happened to his baby. I miss Bernie Shaw.
